LT Series
HMI & Control Seminar
The purpose
of the LT Series HMI & Control Seminar is to introduce an individual to the Proface
LT Series HMIs with built in control. This hands on course is designed for
those with little or no prior experience with GP-Pro Ex.
All Proface, First Time Buyers are eligible for this Free training.

The 1/2 day
course will run from 8.30am till 1pm. Lunch is provided.
A good understanding of the Windows
operating system will be assumed.
A Laptop
computer with GP-Pro Ex V2.1 installed is required.

ZFX Smart
Sensor
Lakewood
Automation is proud to offer a half day introduction to
Omron's new ZFX Smart Vision Sensor. The seminar will give you hands on
experience with the most commonly used tools available in the ZFX. The class will
also discuss some of the basics
of machine vision and lighting. There is No Charge for this Seminar.
Class starts at 9.30am. Lunch will be provided.
The afternoon has been left open to discuss applications, so bring along
your parts and we will try them out.

Advanced PLC Training
The purpose of the Advanced Omron PLC Training Course is to
introduce an individual to the more advanced concepts of a PLC (Programmable Logic
Controller) using a mixture of lectures and hands on labs. This course is designed for the
individual who has taken the Basic PLC Training Course and would now like to go on to more
advanced concepts. The topics that are covered in the Advanced PLC training course are as
follows: BCD, DEC, HEX and Binary conversions, PLC instructions including
MOV, ++B, --B, CMP, >, <, SFT, DIFU, KEEP, SET, RSET,
+B, -B, +BL, SCL and
indirect addressing. The hardware used in the class will be the Omron CJ1M
PLC.
The 2 day course at our Westlake training center will cost $550.00 per person and will run from 9am till 4pm each day. You
must have attended the Basic PLC class and have a good understanding of the Windows
operating system and the CX-Programmer software.
A Laptop computer with CX-Programmer V7.2 installed is required.

Basic PLC Training
The purpose of the Basic Omron PLC Training Course is to introduce
an individual to the basic concepts of a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) using a
mixture of lectures and hands on labs. This course is designed for the individual with
little or no prior PLC experience. The topics that are covered in the basic PLC training
course are as follows: A brief history of the Omron PLC family, wiring to the PLC, the
Omron I/O addressing scheme, basic functions of an Omron PLC (SCAN), the design, entering
and debugging of a basic ladder logic program, CX-Programmer programming software, on-line editing of
timers, counters, and data memories and basic trouble shooting techniques.
The hardware used in the class will be the Omron CJ1M PLC.
The 2 day course at our Westlake training center will cost $550.00
per person and will run from 9am till 4pm each day. A

GP-Pro Ex Basics
The purpose
of the GP-Pro Ex Basics class is to introduce an individual to the Proface
GP-Pro Ex operator interface software. This hands on course is designed for
those with little or no prior experience with GP-Pro Ex. The topics covered
are; Pushbuttons, Lights, Text, Time Display, Graph Display, Switches,
Changing screens, Message displays, Data displays and Entries.
There is No Charge for this Seminar.
The 1/2 day
course will run from 8.30am till 12pm. A good understanding of the Windows
operating system will be assumed.
A Laptop
computer with GP-Pro Ex V2.1 installed is required.

GP_Pro Ex
Intermediate
The purpose of the GP-Pro Ex Intermediate class is to expand upon the topics
covered in the GP-Pro Ex Basics class. This hands on class will cover the
following topics: Alarms, Passwords, Recipes, Sampling, Trending.
There is No Charge for this Seminar.
The 1/2 day course will run from 8.30am till 12pm. You must have a good
understanding of the Windows operating system and the GP-Pro EX Basics.
A
Laptop computer with GP-Pro Ex V2.1 installed is required.
