We would also like to update you on the new additions to Omron's CJ2 PLC platform and mention the newly released CP1W Modbus TCP/IP Adapter.

Omron Electronics introduces the compact FQ-series vision sensors, a groundbreaking inspection solution for packaging applications that combines high speed, true color processing capabilities with built-in high power LED lighting and lens, for an easy-to-use, affordable system. With camera and image processor in the sensing head, FQ vision sensors offer a choice of PC or optional TouchFinder terminal for setup and monitoring. Omron's simple and intuitive icon-driven menu system eliminates the need for complex instructions and specialist know-how.
  
The first products of their type to employ high dynamic range (HDR) technology, FQ vision sensors incorporate full color processing (up to 16.7 million colors), built-in polarizing and halation filters to remove glare for perfect contrast, and integrated high-intensity LED lighting. These features enable them to provide stable inspection even with highly reflective, low contrast and similarly difficult targets where conventional vision sensors see nothing. They also cope easily with piece-to-piece variation between targets and with target misalignment. Models offer up to 32 simultaneous inspections within a scene, ideal for inspecting complex confection placement and color of individual pieces in a single pass.
  
Omron's Small, Low Cost and Flexible CJ2M CPUs
Omron CJ2M CPUsNew CJ2M Small, Low Cost and Flexible PLC Offers Models with and without Built-in Ethernet/IP.
  
The CJ2M-CPU1x has an Ultra Compact Size & Built-in RS-232 Port. All CJ2M models provide 1 MB Symbol/Comment memory, 20K Step Function Block memory, Tag Database & USB Programming Port.
  
The CJ2M-CPU3x has an Option Port and Built-in EtherNet/IP for high speed data exchange between PLCs, HMIs and I/O devices. This port supports simultaneous FINS and CIP protocol communications that can be used for programming, connecting to an NS HMI or software packages. EtherNet/IP is the most requested industrial Ethernet network in the Americas and it gives the user powerful connectivity to hundreds of EtherNet/IP compatible devices.
  
Tag Programming - Models with built-in EtherNet/IP use a common tag database between the controller and HMI that will reduce development time allowing your products to get to market faster or provide faster system changes.
  
One Software - CX-One is the industrial automation, value-leader software suite that incorporates all the tools to program, monitor & troubleshoot your entire machine. This will save valuable time in engineering, installation, training, updates and maintenance of individual packages.
Omron CP1W-MODTCP01-US Modbus/TCP AdapterOmron Modbus TCP/IP
The CP1W-MODTCP01-US can function as either a Modbus/TCP Master or as a Modbus/TCP Slave, but not both simultaneously. In Modbus/TCP Slave mode, the module responds to commands from a Modbus/TCP Master such as a PC or PLC and allows Omron CP1L, CP1H and CJ2M-CPU3x PLCs to function as slave nodes on the Modbus/TCP network. In Modbus/TCP Master mode, this module can be used to control/monitor IO blocks and other remote devices.
