ACS Drive and Tolomatic Interface Software

The ACS stepper drive and controller is extremely easy to use and is primarily intended for low cost electric actuator solutions.

The ACS is an extremely easy-to-use, low cost stepper drive and controller developed specifically for electric actuators. Simply select the configured Tolomatic electric actuator in the software to automatically set-up most of the necessary parameters to create motion in the desired linear units (mm or inch).

ACS stepper drive capabilities:

  • 4, 8, or 16 move command modes (absolute, incremental or jog) for infinite position capability.

  • Adjustable motion profile parameters (velocity, accel/decel, force). Parameters are independently configurable for each move.

  • Ability to reduce holding current for energy savings.

  • End point correction.

  • Zone output based on position.

  • Force limiting capacity.

  • Configurable digital I/O (24 Vdc Opto-Isolated)(NPN or PNP)

  • Compatible with most 24 Vdc stepper motors.

ERD Enhancements

The ERD Low Cost Electric Actuator product line has undergone some product enhancements since its release last year.
The ERD will now be available with a wide variety of options which include:

  • Ball screw selections for increased force capacities
  • Stepper motor offering with encoder option
  • Guided rod option for load guidance and anit-rotate
  • IEC servo motor mount for increased motor compatibility
  • All stainless steel unit with protective motor cover option for wash down applications
